Karre - Chassis Group Buy

This is the Karre Chassis preoder. The preorder for group buy chassis will be open for one week! Then I will close it and place the group order. After that, you can order it as a print my home print (nylon but not SLS print method). 

Designed by our good friend Tim over at Tierfon Orbital. This chassis is designed to have a reveal crystal chamber right under the opening control box. It also holds a magnet to keep the control box closed.

The chassis is an "eco" chassis, designed to make DIY install easy.

Pre orders are open from today 7/10/2023 9pm and will close in one week, 14/10/2023 (AEST).

This item is for a chassis ordered direct with a 3D printing service. As such it will take a few weeks from order placement to being able to ship.

The chassis has 4 parts.

1. Main chassis:

Printed in black nylon using SLS technology.

Designed to hold proffie v2.2. 18650 protected li-ion battery, removeable battery system via two keystone battery tabs and a 28mm base speaker. 

It also holds a SHTOK or CCSabers neopixel adaptor and is fully removeable.

2. Pommel speaker spacer.

 Printed in black nylon using SLS technology. 

Designed to keep a good sound venting volume at the bottom of the hilt, and ensuring a tight fit chassis once the pommel is installed.

3. Switch Extension.

This piece is printed and glued onto the rocker. This allows the rocker to directly push a switch on the removeable main chassis. It's not the neatest of designs, but it's a consequence of the opening control box. 

4. Printed Synthetic Crystal

Printed in a translucent red resin.

Designed to be lit in the chassis and visible in the reveal.

No electronics are included.
